Role & responsibilities Plan, supervise, and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery (pellet mill, hammer mill, elevators, conveyors, mixers, coolers, etc.). Ensure minimum downtime and optimal machine efficiency through proactive maintenance strategies. Lead a team of technicians and ensure maintenance SOPs, safety norms, and checklists are strictly followed. Monitor and maintain spare parts inventory, coordinate with purchase for timely procurement. Liaise with production and quality teams to align maintenance activities without affecting output. Implement and maintain TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices in the engineering function. Prepare and maintain maintenance logs, breakdown analysis, and energy consumption records. Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for major overhauls, AMCs, or equipment upgrades Preferred candidate profile Hands-on experience with mechanical systems in feed/food/FMCG/processing plants. Expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, motors, belts, and shaft alignment. Knowledge of safety, statutory compliance, TPM and ISO practices. Good troubleshooting and team leadership capabilities.
