Assistant Manager - Data QA

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer specializing in Tax Technology, your role will involve collaborating with team members to understand data testing requirements and business needs. You will be responsible for executing test plans for data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms. Your tasks will also include performing data validation to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency. In addition, you will need to develop and maintain automated test scripts for data validation, log defects, track resolutions, and verify fixes. Your active participation in Agile ceremonies and contribution to QA best practices will be essential to ensure the quality of the processes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members to understand data testing requirements and business needs. - Execute test plans for data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics platforms. - Perform data validation to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data validation. - Log defects, track resolutions, and verify fixes. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to QA best practices. Qualifications Required: - Experience in testing Data and Analytics components, with contributions to test strategy development. - Experience in data transformation and validation testing, ensuring data integrity through both manual and automated methods. - Experience in testing Power BI dashboards and PowerApps, ensuring accuracy of metrics and visualizations. - Familiar with project leveraging tools like Alteryx, Azure Data Factory, and programming languages such as SQL and Python. - Familiar with modern data platforms and tools including Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure SQL, Microsoft Fabric, and PowerApps. - Keeps up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the data and analytics space.,
