Assistant Manager - Data Engineering: Role: Assistant Manager - Data Engineering Experience: 5 to 8 years Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka , India (BLR) Job Description: As a Senior Data Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and infrastructure, enabling the organisation to collect, store, and analyse data efficiently. You will play a critical role in ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility, while also collaborating with stakeholder and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making Job Responsibilities: 1. Data Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses or data lakes. 2. Data Modelling: Develop and optimize data models and schema to support data analysis and reporting needs. 3. Data Integration: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and integrate data sources into analytical platforms. 4.SQL Expertise: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. 5. Data Architecture: Contribute to the design and maintenance of the organisation's data architecture, making strategic decisions about data storage, processing. 6. Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with relevant data protection regulations, industry standards, and internal data governance policies. 7. Documentation and Collaboration: Document data pipelines, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing. Work closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, including data scientists, data analysts, and software developers, to address data-related challenges and meet their data needs Skills Required: Data Engineer, with a track record of successfully designing and implementing data pipelines and systems.
