Assistant Manager - Counselling

Key Responsibilities

Counselling Client Support

• Provide individual and group counselling sessions in line with professional and ethical standards

• Conduct intake assessments, identify client needs, and recommend appropriate interventions or referrals

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records and documentation

Program Service Management

• Support the design and implementation of counselling programs, workshops, and awareness initiatives

• Assist in scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery coordination

• Monitor service utilization and support quality improvement initiatives

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (faculty, HR, managers, healthcare providers) to support client well-being

• Coordinate with external counselors, therapists, or referral partners as required

• Support crisis intervention and escalation in line with organizational protocols

Compliance Governance

• Ensure adherence to counselling ethics, confidentiality, and data protection policies

• Support compliance with regulatory and professional body guidelines

• Assist in audits, reporting, and documentation reviews

Team Support Development

• Support junior counsellors or coordinators with case tracking and administrative guidance

• Contribute to training, supervision, and knowledge-sharing activities
