Assistant Manager- Commercial - Outside Sales

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in the Commercial Department with a focus on Outside Sales - EXIM, your main responsibility will be to develop customers in the EXIM sector and serve as the primary contact point for sales within your assigned customer portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Identify new customers and new business opportunities from existing customers. - Create a sales call plan for the upcoming week every Friday. - Conduct sales calls at the premises of both new and existing customers, with a target of 12 calls per week. - Prepare sales visit reports detailing the outcomes of meetings and action plans by the first Monday of the visit week. - Propose volume potential to pricing desks in HO / RO and file AQUA Contract quotations through the Sales Support Team. - Gather market information on competition activities, rates, new services, and any other relevant updates and submit them to the Sales Manager. - Generate sales leads for cargo controlled out of India and communicate them to the respective counterparts. - Identify specific opportunities for Non-Maritime businesses and respond to assigned sales leads. - Promote CMA CGM Group Services and Non-Maritime products such as e-commerce, VAS, intermodal, and CEVA. - Collaborate with the sales support team for Rates filing and support the development of market share and turnover according to the commercial strategy. - Promote SPOTON Digital Products and CC India products/services through Reverse Marketing/Sales Leads for Imports. - Ensure compliance with all NOVA Business KPIS related to Maritime Opportunities, Sales Targets, Shipping and Non-Shipping Targets, and any new targets set by commercial management. Qualifications Required: - Minimum graduate qualification. - At least 5 years of experience in the shipping industry. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Office applications. - Proactive attitude with a go-getter approach and good analysis skills.,
