Assistant Maintenance Technican

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician Assistant to support our maintenance team. The successful candidate will assist in the repair, maintenance, and upkeep of all plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assistance with Repairs and Maintenance:
• Work directly under the guidance of a senior technician to perform routine preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Help disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair or inspection.
• Follow detailed instructions to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently.
• Equipment & Tools Management:
• Organize and maintain the workshop, ensuring all tools and parts are stored correctly.
• Clean and inspect tools and equipment after use.
• Assist in preparing the necessary tools and materials for a job.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Log completed tasks, part replacements, and issues in the maintenance logbook or system.
• Report any identified potential problems, safety risks, or equipment failures to the senior technician or manager.

Qualifications:

• Technical diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical or Electrical
• Freshers with a strong desire to learn are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with common hand and power tools.
