Assistant Logistics Executive

Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation or delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and deliveries using appropriate software or tools.
• Assist in monitoring transportation costs, optimizing routes, and identifying opportunities to reduce expenses while maintaining quality service.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and other necessary paperwork related to logistics activities.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of materials and supplies needed for transportation and distribution.
• Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Support the logistics manager in evaluating logistics performance metrics and proposing improvements in processes or procedures.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment in logistics operations.
• Perform other duties or tasks related to logistics and supply chain management as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• 1+ years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
• Working knowledge in Tally, IDPMS, EDPMS.
• Strong analysis skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong organizational and stress management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision.
