Assistant in Nursing

Role Overview: As a caregiver in this role, you will be responsible for providing personal care to patients, including helping them with bathing, grooming, and dressing. You will also assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as toileting, feeding, and helping patients move in and out of beds and wheelchairs. Additionally, you will be tasked with taking and recording vital signs, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining a clean environment, and documenting patient conditions. Your role will also involve assisting patients with mobility, providing emotional support, and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff. Key Responsibilities: - Helping patients with bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assisting with toileting, feeding, and helping patients move in and out of beds and wheelchairs - Taking and recording vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiration rate - Assisting patients with walking, using mobility devices like walkers, and repositioning bedridden patients - Ensuring patients" comfort, changing bed linens, and providing emotional support - Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment, including stocking medical supplies - Observing and recording patient conditions, food/liquid intake, and reporting any changes or concerns to nurses Qualifications Required: - Compassion and patience are essential for providing care to patients - Strong communication skills to effectively report patient status and interact with patients and staff - Physical strength is necessary for lifting and moving patients - Attention to detail is crucial for accurately recording vital signs and observing patient progress Note: Hiring for freshers and Tamil speaking candidates.
