Assistant General Manager-Costing & Budgeting(Jewellery Industry)

As an Assistant General Manager-Costing & Budgeting in the Jewellery Industry, you will play a crucial role in accurately determining the manufacturing cost of products, analyzing Costing Profit & Loss accounts, and validating strategic investments. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, reviewing, and optimizing pricing for existing and new products, as well as tracking and controlling costs department-wise. You will also be responsible for performing variance and trend analysis, ensuring costing P&L reconciliation with finance records, and preparing monthly MIS reports. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately determine manufacturing costs and ensure timely updates - Analyze and prepare Costing Profit & Loss accounts - Validate strategic investments, including ROI and CAPEX projects - Monitor, review, and optimize pricing for products - Track, analyze, and control costs department-wise - Perform variance and trend analysis comparing actual costs vs budgets - Ensure costing P&L reconciles correctly with finance records - Update key costing factors regularly in the ERP system - Prepare monthly MIS reports and support activity-based costing initiatives - Evaluate capacity utilization and machinery efficiency Qualifications Required: - CMA Qualified In this role, you will need to demonstrate strong expertise in product costing, budgeting, and variance analysis with a deep understanding of production processes and product life cycles. Proficiency in data analytics, forecasting, and reporting tools, as well as experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and ERP systems, will be essential. Excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills are also required to succeed in this position.
