Job Description

  • Guest services:

    • Ensure prompt and personal guest recognition.
    • Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage escalated issues.
    • Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and manage reservations.
  • Staff supervision and management:

    • Support the Front Office Manager in supervising daily front desk activities.
    • Train and guide front desk staff to provide quality customer service.
    • Manage staff schedules, shifts, and assist with payroll procedures.
    • Interview, hire, and train new staff.
  • Operational and administrative tasks:

    • Monitor and control expenses, and assist with budget preparation.
    • Supervise billing and cash processes to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain a clean, neat, and secure front office area.
    • Liaise with other departments to resolve operational issues.
  • Leadership and strategy:

    • Delegate daily work responsibilities to front desk staff.
    • Participate in meetings to identify and resolve operational issues.
    • Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
