Assistant / Deputy Manager - MLB / SMT Equipment Engineer

As an SMT/MLB Equipment Engineer at our company, your primary role will involve troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment to achieve cost-effective, high-quality, and timely production goals. You will be responsible for reviewing and determining material, equipment, and manpower needs, as well as coordinating maintenance activities with other departments such as engineering and operations. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in selecting and developing personnel to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. Key Responsibilities: - Programming and Troubleshooting of SMT Machines including ASM Paste Printer, SPI, Mounters, Reflow Profiling, Router, Glue Dispensing, and LASER Marking Machines. - Demonstrating a strong understanding of PCBA/SMT Machines Process and industry-standard testing procedures. - Maintaining a thorough knowledge of documentation practices such as PM Checklist, Machines WI, and System Procedures. - Conducting CP/CPK studies on all SMT machines in line to ensure optimal performance. - Implementing preventive maintenance on equipment according to the PM schedule and procedure. - Providing guidance to production engineers to enhance efficiency and quality. - Undertaking any additional duties as assigned by your supervisor to support overall operations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12-18 years of experience in equipment engineering within a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various manufacturing equipment. - Strong knowledge of SMT processes and industry best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
