Assistant Consultant

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Assistant Consultant shall support the development of transportation strategies and integrated mobility plans.
• Assist with policy reviews and framework development for sustainable, multimodal transport
• Aid the Senior Team in analysis and preparation of technical reports.
• Use GIS and transport modelling tools to visualize and assess proposals
• Hold experience and knowledge of Transport Planning such as but not limited to analysis of traffic patterns, pedestrian flows, and multimodal integration as well a good understanding of fundamental modelling techniques and traffic management techniques to enable you work effectively as part of the team.
  

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5 years of Work experience in Urban/Transport Planning.
• Masters degree Transport Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or related field from an accredited university or Urban Planning degree with emphasis in transportation planning.
• A solid understanding of traffic engineering.
• Proficiency in GIS (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS), Excel, and basic transport modelling tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges; and
• Committed team player
