Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining WSP's acoustics team in India, working closely with the UK acoustics team. Based in either Noida or Bengaluru, you will collaborate with colleagues from both countries to deliver projects for clients and contribute to the growth of the acoustics team. With around 50 acoustic consultants in the UK, you will have the opportunity to develop your consultancy skills as part of one of the largest acoustics teams in the UK. Key Responsibilities: - Perform computer modelling using ArcGIS and CadnaA - Calculate HVAC noise levels and develop mitigation strategies - Conduct room acoustics calculations - Process noise and vibration survey data - Create technical drawings and figures - Write technical reports Qualifications: - Hold a relevant degree in acoustics, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related discipline - Have at least 2 years of experience in acoustics consultancy or related work - Demonstrate enthusiasm, drive, and ambition - Possess a social and team-spirited attitude - Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people - Strong organizational skills - Excellent written and spoken English - Exposure to UK projects, British Standards, and guidance documents is advantageous - Understanding of ArcGIS will be advantageous Note: The Equal Opportunity Statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity has been omitted from the final JD as it does not directly relate to the job description provided.
