Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for gathering understanding of the current processes and working on process automation in collaboration with the process black belts. Key responsibilities include quantifying potential benefits, conducting assessments between current and future states, and working on automation projects, particularly with web-based applications. The candidate must possess experience in feasibility assessment, effort estimation, benefit quantification, and assessing automation feasibility by identifying automatable steps in processes. Additionally, the candidate should have the ability to analyze complex processes, identify automation opportunities, and suggest improvements before commencing automation development. Attention to detail and effective communication with operations teams are crucial for success in this role. To excel in this position, candidates should have a strong understanding of web-based and Excel-based automation, as well as experience in integrating various applications using tools such as VB, VB.NET, Python, etc. Knowledge of RPA technology like Automation Anywhere would be advantageous. Performance in this role will be evaluated based on the number of projects, efficiency in delivery, adherence to timelines, and feedback from clients and internal teams on the quality of documentation, planning, and execution of projects. Ideal candidates will hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering, Commerce, or Management with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BPO/ITES. They should have a demonstrated track record of managing the development of tactical or desktop-based solutions, the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and proficiency in Microsoft tools such as VB.NET, VB, SharePoint, Outlook, and MS Form. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation skills, teamwork, independence, high energy, and a positive attitude are essential qualities for success in this role.
