Assistant Air Quality Consultant

Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Air Quality Consultant. We are seeking candidates who are looking to work on some of the largest and most interesting air quality and carbon projects in the UK and internationally.

Your role

• Analysing and interpreting data from air quality monitoring surveys.
• Producing air quality, dust, odour and carbon assessments for a range of projects.
• Preparing and delivering air quality reports and figures.
• Providing input to on bids and business development activities to secure work for the team.
• Managing own workload within defined budgets and programmes.
• Continuous development and application of technical and digital skills.

About you

• Higher degree qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific subject
• Knowledge of a range of air quality and carbon issues including relevant policies and standards
• Experience of dispersion modelling and assessment techniques
• Experience of analysing and interpreting data using spreadsheet and GIS based tools
• Proficient in standard IT applications, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
• Prior experience of working in air quality consultancy.
• Experience of using statistical analysis packages and/or computer programming language.
• Experience of working with other environmental specialisms.
• Experience of liaising with stakeholders.
