Assistance Vice President - ESG Finance Change
Business: Finance
Principal Responsibilities
- Ensure business and user process flow and detailed steps are documented at good quality level such as process maps, RACI and SOP.
- Understand the underlying design from system and operating model and actively contribute towards to-be process design discussions and document the same.
- Work closely with other workstream such as requirements, design, data, testing, IT and controls to ensure items are correctly and timely captured, documented and presented for decision making or approvals and signoff with relevant stakeholders.
- Active interactions with ESG reporting team and maintain good working relationships throughout.
- Identify changes upto EUC levels and raise necessary actions in time with relevant teams.
- Ensure any new functionality, process training is in place and incorporated into impacted documents as necessary.
- Contribute to activities such as testing and Implementation for ESG Finance to meet expected timelines as agreed with key stakeholders.
- Identify issues globally (and regionally/at entity) as appropriate and contribute to solutions accordingly.
- Engage stakeholders across Finance and collaborate across Businesses and other functions.
- Work with PMO to receive inputs and handle updates based on the project status and movement.
- Collaborate within GSC entity for any volunteering or required tasks to be performed independently or jointly for the project or otherwise.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of a finance reporting process.
- Experience on detailed documentation preparation such as process maps and SOPs.
- Ability to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
- Maintain strong, collaborative working relationships across Finance and other stakeholder groups.
- Ability to organize, plan and carry out tasks independently where necessary.
- Support the development and delivery of the Global Finance Change book of work on ESG Finance deliverables including Group, Regional and site deliverables.
- Highly proactive in learning and sharing updates and move ahead with next steps rather than await instructions at essential and basic levels of work.
- Work with other programs to ensure that Finance related ESG dependencies are delivered within timelines and to standards required by Finance.
- Disseminate information around expected business and reporting impacts, and key Programme decisions and issues.
- Identify programme risks relating to transition activities, ensuring adequate and robust mitigants.
- All risks and issues to be managed to a constantly high standard,
Additional Qualifications
- A Minimum of 6-7years overall experience in a Finance function out of which atleast 2-3 years are with Finance Change function in BA/SME capacity.
- Finance Project experience working with Finance Data extracts with emphasis on meeting reporting requirements and addressing business problems.
- Sound technical and process knowledge on Finance ledgers, Downstream systems, and related Data.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with Finance and cross-functional team work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The role holder will need to clearly articulate the regulatory rules and the business and reporting implications.
- Relevant knowledge of the Group's Finance function in multiple locations.
- Project Management training/experience will be an advantage.
