In Back-office functions you will primarily be working on Asset transition (Inbound, Cost Basis Reporting, Outbound). You will be responsible for Custody and accounting asset/securities transfers from / to brokers, Fund Managers, Custodians etc. You will also be responsible for Tax Lot and book adjustments and rebooking of failed trades. Responsibilities Required good understanding on upstream and downstream of process of Asset transfer. Basic knowledge of different types of tax costs, Tax code, Tax lot, Date of Death, Beneficiary, Inheritance/Gifts etc. Hands on experience around stock in’s & out’s (Free Receipt/Delivery) process. Good understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage. Experience of posting transactions on accounting & custody book for exception resolution is required. Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.
