Job Requirements
Asset Information Management Advisor as part of Surface Technical Group, will be responsible for managing Information, engineering documents and data management for Upstream Asset to support operational efficiency, safety and compliance. The role involves coordinating with engineering, maintenance, and safety teams for complete document life cycle with administration of OIMS and occasional travel to site if required.
Primary Job Functions
- Administration of OIMS 4-1, managing OIMS share point site
- Custodianship of Aconex EDMS
- Develop, implement, and maintain an Asset Information Management System to control and sustain project documentation and asset data.
- Support project teams and engineering consultants in setting up and managing the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), Aconex and supervise the use of global applications.
- Manage the full lifecycle of controlled documents: creation, revision, review, obsolescence, and publishing.
- Define Asset IM objectives/KPI and conduct Quarterly Verification & Measurements (V&M) Audit pertaining to OIMS 4.1 requirements and prepare plan for closure of audit findings.
- Lead the migration activity of asset documents from older EDMS tools to Aconex
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver document control and turnover services throughout the asset lifecycle.
- Maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to track adherence, progress, and approvals.
- Support digital team in asset digital initiatives and collaborate with DRE/Digital Twin teams
- Support regulatory compliance through accurate documentation and data integrity.
- Develop/update various Asset IM process and procedures in line with latest system requirements, make sure smooth Information handover from Projects
- Provide training and support on asset information management processes to internal and external stakeholders
- Manage Asset IM team personnel including Third Party MSP (Managed service provider)
Work Experience
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Electrical engineering, or construction management.
- Minimum 15+ years experience in oil and gas industry is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in Asset Information Management, Document Control, Master Data, or related fields within engineering or project environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Power BI, AutoCAD and other electronic documents / data management software & tools.
- Experience or working knowledge of EDMS platforms and databases.
- Strong understanding of engineering terminology and project deliverables
- Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in handling RDL, EDL, DCL and EDW as per required governance procedures.
- Flexible to travel to Asset location, if needed.
