You will be responsible for scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize generation and un-scheduled repair/maintenance activities at project sites as per requirement. You will need to coordinate with SCADA and Design teams to rectify faults and address issues at the site. Your main goal will be to ensure 100% compliance to achieve electrical & mechanical maintenance to avoid any incident of electrical fault and modules dislodging. You will also have to coordinate with OEM for replacement/repair of equipment during the warranty period. Building relationships with customers for managing timely O&M at sites and resolving queries to keep customers satisfied will be a crucial part of your role. An essential requirement for this position is a good understanding of electrical systems like LT/HT/ Cables/ Earthing and knowledge of BOM of an electrical system. Effective written and oral communication skills are necessary for successful coordination and customer management. To be considered for this role, you should have 5 years of experience working in the renewable-energy industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a Managerial capacity. Experience working with current solar technology is preferred. You should expect to have 50 to 60% site visits, with a requirement of 2 to 4 years of experience in solar rooftop projects. The ideal candidate will have a BE/BTech/Diploma in the Electrical field, good to excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Tamil (Mandatory) and English languages.
