Assessment Creators and Reviewers for grades 6-10

As an Assessment Creator and Reviewer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, standards-aligned assessments for CCSS Math and NGSS Science targeting grades 6-10. These are contractual positions with an initial duration of 5 months, subject to extension based on business requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include developing 20-25 error-free assessment items daily that adhere to CCSS and NGSS standards. You will create diagnostic assessments with clearly defined learning outcomes, ensuring alignment with Bloom's Taxonomy, Depth of Knowledge (DoK), and the Cognitive Rigor Matrix. Additionally, you will be tasked with crafting distractor rationales, hints, and feedback that enhance student learning and assessment interpretation. To excel in this role, you must possess at least 3 years of experience in creating or reviewing assessment items, specifically in the educational or edtech sectors. Proficiency in CCSS (Math) and NGSS (Science) standards is a must. A solid grasp of Bloom's Taxonomy, Depth of Knowledge (DoK), and the Cognitive Rigor Matrix is essential for success in this position. You should demonstrate exceptional written and verbal English skills with keen attention to detail to produce error-free content. The ability to work autonomously from a remote, home-based environment and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines is crucial. Moreover, you must distinguish between the difficulty of assessment items and their cognitive load to ensure appropriate challenge levels. Collaboration with the project team and timely delivery of tasks in a fast-paced setting are integral to this role. Your expertise in effective diagnostic assessments and the provision of insightful feedback and distractor rationales for incorrect responses will be key contributions to the team. This is a 5-month contract position with the possibility of extension, offering a remote work environment.
