The Teams also support Product Development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts relative to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements and manufacturing location. They act as interface between engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up as well as support the research & development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate prototype fabrication and assembly activities. Ensure accurate interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications. Oversee the assembly of transmission line towers and distribution gantries/equipment. Maintain quality control standards and safety compliance on the shop floor. Coordinate with design, quality, and production teams to meet project timelines. Troubleshoot issues related to fabrication and assembly processes. Monitor inventory levels of fabrication materials and tools. Required Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in proto fabrication and assembly. Strong knowledge of transmission line towers and distribution gantry/equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication schematics. Good leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of welding, cutting, and assembly tools and techniques. Diploma or ITI in Mechanical or related fields preferred.
