MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Overall monitoring of process quality activities (Including first part approval, In process activities) Inspection Planning & Management Monitoring of inspection records and effectiveness of inspection Monitoring and timely review/ update the process documents (PFD, PFMEA, Control Plan, Inspection guidelines) Monitoring of daily rejections and conduct analysis Drive problem solving and implement corrective and preventive actions in shop Conduct PPM reduction activities through CFT/QRQC in Shop Monitoring of final and OBA inspection activities Effective decision making for part acceptance Conduct product & Process audits on shop Conduct analysis for customer complaints ( Through 8D format) Drive effective containment process for internal and external complaints. Monitoring team performance (Skill monitoring) Conduct operator / Inspector trainings to enhance the skill level Support part approval process (for NPD items) Conduct quality planning for NPD items : Fixing Inspection items, Gauges, instruments, Documents Drive overall improvement activities to reduce Quality cost. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED Education B.Tech : Mechanical Engineering Experience Min 5 years experience in manufacturing sector (Automotive / Non –Automotive ) Preferred background : Injection molding, Stamping process and Assembly process (connectors/ wiring harness) Experience of handling VMM / CMM & other measuring instruments. Skills Knowledge / Trained in QC tools Knowledge/ Trained in Core tools (APQP,PPAP,FMEA,MSA,SPC) Knowledge in 8D reporting / Problem solving Awareness of ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 standards Awareness of IPC WHMA 620 standards Decision making Team building & Communication

Perform Sub assembly, machine assembly as per assembly process. Required Candidate profile Ability to read and understand Assembly drawings and perform assembly as per instructions.
