As a Production & Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in coordinating production activities and ensuring the maintenance of assets/equipment at the Third-Party Contract Manufacturing (3PM) site on behalf of our client company. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks aimed at optimizing production efficiency and maintaining equipment performance. In terms of production activities, you will act as the primary liaison between the client company Sales team and the 3PM facility to oversee the manufacturing of dispensing products according to customer specifications. This includes monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and ensuring the availability of sufficient supplies to meet demand. Your role will also involve analyzing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality. Building strong relationships with the 3PM team, preparing supply chain performance reports, and collaborating with other departments will be essential aspects of this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment. On the maintenance front, you will be tasked with planning and overseeing routine maintenance activities at the 3PM site to prevent breakdowns of injection molds and assembly machines. Implementing proactive maintenance strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and optimizing equipment life cycles will be key components of your responsibilities. You will also support the contract manufacturer in designing tools, jigs, and fixtures to facilitate product testing and manual assembly of dispensers. To excel in this role, you should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, along with 3-4 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance. A strong understanding of engineering principles, knowledge of injection molding and assembly of plastic components, and the ability to analyze information and develop solutions are essential qualifications. Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills, coupled with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment, will be critical for success in this position.,
