You will be joining Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., a renowned electrical and automation brand with a legacy spanning over 70 years in India. As the Deputy Manager - NPI, your key responsibilities will involve Assembly Engineering in New Product Development, overseeing the end-to-end product development cycle with a focus on the Switchgear industry. You will be responsible for the Line Establishment of New Products, ensuring Yield Improvement, Problem Resolution online, Cost analysis, and cost control of products. Supporting production lines for smooth production completion, ensuring System compliance & documentation such as SOP, SAP Activities, PL (Process Layout), BOM (Bill of Material), among others. Your role will also encompass Process and product analysis, DFA/PFMEA knowledge, MOST analysis, and Fixture Development. In terms of qualifications, you should hold a B.E/B.Tech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and possess 3-5 years of relevant experience. Your success in this role will be supported by your technical competency in the Industrialization of New Products and strong process knowledge in the Assembly area including joining processes, POKAYOKE, Testing of Products, SPC, and Problem Solving. What you can look forward to as Project Engineer (m/f/d): The Project Engineer is the key contact for process engineering in the core team for New product launches. He is the link to the components and owns the development for assembly and testing processes. He/she assures that global process standards are applied and that newly required processes are developed with / by the respective process experts. The Project Engineer validates these new process developments accordingly during the prototype build phase. Together with the local PE and OPS teams in the different BU IW plants, he/she drives and develops the optimal set-up on the shopfloor when new products are launched for serial production. Your profile as Project Engineer Education: Masters Engineering degree Years of relevant experience: Minimum 10 years in assembly engineering in a project focused environment. Relevant matrix team lead experience. Functional competences : Profound knowledge of assembly processes related to gearboxes Solid project management skills Knowledgeable on standard lean and quality tools (FMEA, T&M, ) SAP and MS Office.
