Ensure that assembly processes follow design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Allocate manpower efficiently to meet daily production schedules. Review and interpret fabrication drawings and ensure accurate assembly. Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with QA for final inspection. Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices. Train and mentor operators and technicians in assembly techniques and tools. Coordinate with planning, welding, powder coating, and dispatch teams for workflow continuity. Report production data, downtime, and issues to production management. Preferred candidate profile ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 35 years of supervisory experience in assembly, preferably in canopy or enclosure fabrication. Strong understanding of sheet metal components, fasteners, gaskets, locks, hinges, wiring support, etc. Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs. Working knowledge of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measurement instruments. Good communication and leadership skills. Exposure to lean practices, Kaizen, or ISO 9001 systems is preferred.
