As a Power System Analysis Engineer at our firm, your primary responsibility will involve conducting power system analysis for transmission and distribution projects. This will include tasks such as feasibility studies, masterplans, despatch studies, renewable integration, and grid code reviews. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing renewable generation connection schemes, determining techno-economical optimum amount of renewable generation, and performing load flow studies, fault level calculations, harmonic analysis, and stability analysis using various software tools. You will also review all Power System Studies technical submittals by EPC contractors/Developers, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and attend meetings to address technical clarifications. Your role will include overseeing FAT & SAT visits, reviewing updated models based on reports, and assisting in incorporating equipment models into network models for planning studies. Your qualifications should include a Masters Degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering, along with a minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in power system study software such as PSS Sincal, PSSE, PLS CAD, and Dig silent is required. Experience in Power System Studies, Grid Impact studies, knowledge of Python/Java for process automation, and prior work with electrical utilities will be advantageous. Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relations are essential for success in this role.
