Role: Responsible for 1st level support to local customers and regional escalation support on ASMPT SMT Solution equipment including installation, hotline management and field servicing activities to ASMPT customers in Southwest Region of India and Sri Lanka. Role: The candidate will be the company’s product champion, responsible for planning and conducting product training to internal and external customers in India. Responsibilities: Conduct product training (hardware/software) for internal and external customers Support sales in Rest of Asia with product knowledge training at the training center Provide onsite training to customer’s production, maintenance, and training staff Develop and standardize training courses, content, and materials at the regional level Conduct refresher training for trainers and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) Assess and qualify trainers and FSEs through skills knowledge assessments and qualification tests Develop new ideas and technologies to improve product training delivery Continuously improve training development and delivery processes Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical and Computer/Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience Sound technical skills in maintenance, programming and troubleshooting Experience in Printer, Pick & Place and Solder Paste Inspection machines is a must Experience in SMT equipment especially ASMPT one is preferred Experience in SMT Process and Applications, Line Software’s integration, MES and Industrial Automation preferred Experience in conducting training is advantageous Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required Work Location: India, Chennai
