As an Engineer-Project Management at Sulzer's CT_MTCS team in India, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently manage projects ensuring Time, Cost & Quality adherence. You will be accountable for ensuring On Time Delivery and maintaining GP within +/- 3% of the budget. Project Planning & Tracking in MS projects will be a key aspect of your role, along with timely submission of documents/drawings to Clients, EPC & PMC. Your responsibilities will also include following up for drawings & documents approval, visiting Clients, Vendors as required, and ensuring on time submission of Final documentation. To excel in this position, you must possess a BE in Mechanical Engineering with 10-12 years of relevant work experience. Additionally, having a PMP certification will be advantageous. You will be responsible for detailing pressure part components and interconnecting piping. This includes checking detail design and designing in solid edge / AutoCAD. You will develop detailing drawings and perform checking for pressure part components using solid edge / AutoCAD. It is essential to have an understanding of material specifications, schematics, and supporting drawings in accordance with IS, ASME, and IBR codes. Quality assurance for pressure part detailing involves a systematic approach to ensure the integrity and reliability of components in pressure-containing systems. You should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Static equipment design, specifically focusing on pressure vessels for Refineries, Gas equipment, etc. Your responsibilities will include utilizing software such as PV Elite, Nozzle PRO, COMPRESS, AutoCAD, and performing various calculations using Excel sheets for tasks like Lifting, Transportation saddle, Welded Support clips, Lugs, etc. You must have a strong understanding and practical experience with ASME Codes, PMC/Licensors/EPC Specification, and Industrial Standards such as API, NACE, among others. Your duties will involve reviewing fabrication drawings, Material procurement drawings, and preparation of Mechanical design calculation reports and Material requirement sheets. Additionally, you will be expected to interpret client specifications, create Technical open item lists, and specification summary sheets. You will also be responsible for preparing ARMs (Technical specifications) for material ordering in adherence to the ASME Code and applicable project specifications for items like Plates, forgings, Pipes, Fittings, etc. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate with ASME AI/PE for approval on design documents, liaise with clients for technical issues and document approvals, and provide technical support to fabrication shops as required.
