V times Square Belapur Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Marine Superintendent to oversee the safe and efficient operation of vessels under our management. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with international maritime regulations, company standards, and client requirements. You will act as the primary liaison between the office and the assigned vessels, supporting masters and crew in operational, navigational, and safety matters. Key Responsibilities: Monitor daily vessel operations and ensure compliance with ISM, ISPS, MARPOL, SOLAS, MLC, and flag/state requirements. Support and advise Masters on navigational, safety, and operational matters. Conduct vessel inspections, internal audits, and risk assessments. Oversee incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive measures. Liaise with port authorities, classification societies, and regulatory bodies. Participate in planning and execution of dry dockings and major repairs. Ensure effective implementation of the company’s safety management system. Monitor and optimize vessel performance and fuel efficiency. Conduct pre-vetting inspections and prepare vessels for PSC, SIRE, CDI, or other audits. Assist in crew selection and provide training guidance to onboard staff. Company DOC audit and ISO audits responsible. Qualifications: Master Mariner (Class 1) Certificate of Competency . Minimum 2–5 years sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on ocean-going vessels. Prior shore-based experience as Marine Superintendent preferred. In-depth knowledge of international maritime regulations and industry standards. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in report writing, incident investigation, and root cause analysis. Ability to travel at short notice for vessel visits and audits.
