Description
As a Hardware Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, optimizing, verifying, and testing a wide range of electronic systems including circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems. Your contributions will help in launching cutting-edge, world-class products. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to develop innovative solutions that meet performance requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Apply Hardware knowledge and experience to plan, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, circuits, mechanical systems, and more. - Integrate features and functionality into hardware designs in alignment with proposals or roadmaps. - Conduct simulations and analyses to implement designs with optimal power, performance, and area. - Collaborate with various teams to implement new requirements and incorporate the latest test solutions for improved production program outcomes. - Evaluate and develop manufacturing solutions for leading edge products and contribute to maximizing productivity. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of Hardware Engineering experience OR Master's degree with 1+ year of experience OR PhD in related field. - Preferred: Master's degree with 3+ years of Hardware Engineering experience, 2+ years of circuit design experience, 2+ years of schematic capture and circuit simulation software utilization, and 2+ years of experience with hardware design and measurement instruments. In this role, you will work independently with minimal supervision, making decisions that may impact work beyond your immediate group. Strong verbal and written communication skills will be necessary to convey information effectively, and tasks will require planning, problem-solving, and prioritization for efficient completion.
