As the Manager of Research and Development - Electronics at KYOCERA AVX Components (New Delhi) Pvt Ltd., located in Building No. 410, Sector-8, IMT Manesar, Haryana - 122 050 (India), you will be responsible for overseeing all electronic design and delivery activities for assigned automotive projects. Your role will involve ensuring high-quality standards, cost optimization, and compliance with industry regulations. We are seeking a proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering innovative and reliable automotive electronic designs. Your responsibilities will include leading a small team of electronics engineers, designing and developing electronic sensors for automotive applications such as speed sensors, pedal modules, and ABS sensors. You will evaluate customer requirements, align designs with electrical functionality standards, and review and optimize electronic schematics and PCB designs for cost and time efficiency. Additionally, you will create and validate product specifications, interface with process engineering teams, and resolve technical issues related to PCB design. To be successful in this role, you are required to have a Bachelor's or higher degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field (Master's preferred) along with at least 8 years of relevant experience in automotive process and product development. You should have experience in leading a team, circuit design, sensor technology, PCB population, testing, debugging, and fabrication processes. Expertise in hardware PCB design for automotive sensors, EMI/EMC standards, automotive sensing technologies, and ASIC programming is essential. Proficiency in tools like Altium Designer, LTSpice, and CST Studio Suite, as well as strong documentation skills and knowledge of MS Office and SAP, are also required. As an ideal candidate, you are outgoing, adaptable, and collaborative with strong English communication skills. Knowledge of German or Japanese is a plus. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is expected.
