Role & responsibilities Provision of strategic legal advice to the Marketing team High level of proficiency in the areas of Food Safety and Standards Act, Legal Metrology Act, Consumer Protection Act, Competition Act, Cable TV Networks and ASCI complaints. Good understanding of legal issues relating to marketing/advertising and promotional activities in OOH & digital formats including on e-commerce and social media platforms. Medium to fair level of proficiency of personal data privacy related issues in connection with consumer (B2C) marketing and market research activities. High level of proficiency in providing legal support for evaluation of product claims, artwork evaluation etc. Fair experience of proficiency in working with the R&D/Regulatory team for assisting in developing supporting materials for claims and product development. Fair understating of trade mark, design registration, copyright and related issues High level of proficiency in drafting agreements relating to marketing i.e., related to appointment of marketing agency, celebrities, marketing research agencies, data sharing, ad placement. Co-ordinate / handle competitor challenges on brands. Assists in rolling out of corporate marketing policies and guidelines Provides support generally and input to the Marketing team.
