Responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the company's financial operations. This role involves managing general ledgers, reconciliations, tax compliance, and providing financial tracking for projects. Key Responsibilities: General Ledger Management: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including debits, credits, and reconciliations. Revenue Recognition: Ensure proper recognition of revenue for construction contracts according to accounting principles. Reconciliations: Conduct bank reconciliations and other account reconciliations to ensure accuracy. Tax Compliance: Prepare and file Goods and Service Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) returns. Project Financial Tracking: Support the tracking of project finances, often in coordination with engineering and operations teams. Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports. Compliance: Adhere to accounting standards, such as Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IGAAP), and other relevant regulations. ERP Systems: Manage accounting data within ERP systems like Tally ERP or MS Dynamics. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with other teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on account performance metrics, analyzing data to identify trends.
