Job Summary

The Technical Lead role requires a seasoned professional with 7 to 9 years of experience in AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP. The candidate will work in a hybrid model primarily during the day shift with no travel requirements. This role involves leading technical projects ensuring high-quality deliverables and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of software solutions using AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of technical solutions ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
  • Analyze and optimize existing systems to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all technical implementations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the team to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems.
  • Support the companys mission by delivering reliable and efficient technical solutions that positively impact society.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in AS400 COBOL CLLE DB2/400 and CLP with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
