As a Product Consultant, you will be responsible for various aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction. Your primary qualifications include a Science or Engineering background. During the pre-sales phase, you will engage with customers to demonstrate solutions and contribute to solution response teams. You will work closely with the Product Consultant to create case studies and solutions when necessary. In product consulting, you will analyze customer requirements, provide recommendations, and collaborate with onsite teams or clients for requirements gathering. Your role also involves identifying enhancements to address recurring issues during implementation. Project management tasks include creating project estimates, reviewing deliverables, participating in deployment activities, and preparing status reports. You will also handle change requests, interface with quality reviewers, and provide necessary artifacts as requested. In design and implementation, you will monitor development activities, create high-level designs, guide product specialists, review code, and conduct design reviews with customers. Additionally, you will conduct root cause analysis, design reusable components, and prepare knowledge transfer documents. Testing responsibilities involve creating unit test cases, reviewing test strategies, providing UAT support, and driving defect resolution. You will also contribute to innovation by suggesting improvements and documenting best practices. Capability building tasks include preparing guidelines, delivering training, mentoring team members, and conducting knowledge transfer sessions. People management duties involve resolving conflicts, supporting team building activities, providing administrative support, and identifying skill gaps for training. Your must-have skills for this role include RPG/400, RPGLE, AS400 CL, Genius, and AS/400 RPG. Your contribution to the team's success will be crucial in delivering quality projects and fostering a collaborative work environment.,
