Role Summary As Production Manager, you will oversee all glass manufacturing operations—pre‑processing (cutting, grinding) + processing (tempering, insulating, laminating). Your role is pivotal in driving output quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Production Planning & Execution Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer/spec demands Monitor and adjust based on resource, capacity, and order fluctuations Quality Assurance & Control Enforce rigorous QC protocols (toughened, insulating, laminated glass) Inspect outputs to match international standards Efficiency & Cost Optimization Identify and implement process improvements, lean or Six Sigma methods Track KPIs (scrap, downtime, yield) and report efficiency metrics Team Leadership Manage operators, technicians, and supervisors Coach, train, and drive performance with safety-first culture Health, Safety & Compliance Maintain shop‑floor safety and environmental compliance Ensure PPE use and hazard reporting Asset & Inventory Oversight Coordinate preventive maintenance Manage raw material and finished goods inventories Cross‑functional Coordination Liaise with Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D teams Align with business goals to support customer service commitments Reporting & Documentation Prepare regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly KPIs, downtime, scrap, improvements) Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering or similar 5–7 years of progressive experience in glass manufacturing (tempering, insulating, laminated, decorative) Proven ability in production supervision or management Strong familiarity with quality systems, health & safety norms Hands-on experience with production software and MS Office Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
