As a Lighting Engineer with a focus on both technical programming and sales, you will be responsible for representing top lighting brands such as MA Lighting, Madrix, BeamZ, and Zactrack. Your role will involve working on live event setups, permanent installations, and techno-commercial engagements. This hybrid position requires a blend of technical expertise and business development, making it an ideal opportunity for a versatile lighting professional looking to lead projects from design to completion. Your primary responsibilities will include programming and operating lighting systems using MA2/MA3, Madrix, Zactrack, and BeamZ for various events, installations, and demo environments. You will also provide technical consultation, on-site support, and collaborate with clients, event managers, and system integrators to deliver customized lighting solutions. Additionally, you will drive sales and business development initiatives by engaging with rental companies, event agencies, and installers nationwide. To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in lighting programming, event lighting, and installation projects. Proficiency in MA Lighting consoles (MA2/MA3), Madrix pixel mapping, BeamZ, and Zactrack control systems is essential. A strong understanding of DMX, Art-Net, sACN, lighting protocols, and AV infrastructure will also be critical for success. Furthermore, you should possess sales experience or a commercial aptitude to effectively pitch, negotiate, and close deals. Excellent client communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills are key to building strong partnerships with clients and channel partners. You should be prepared to travel frequently for installations, demos, and client meetings. Preferred qualifications for this role include a degree/diploma in Lighting Design, Electronics, or Event Technology, as well as certifications in MA Lighting or other relevant lighting software/hardware platforms. An existing network with rental companies, AV consultants, and event production houses would be advantageous in this position.,
