Situated in the heart of Lutyens, Delhi, the Centre for Culture and Arts is an exclusive, by invitation only art gallery and cultural centre. Originally founded by The Ardee group, CCA began its journey in Connaught Place, for over 30 years from the 1980s until the turn of the century. CCA stood as a vibrant hub at the heart of Delhi's art scene, before closing its doors. Now this iconic institution has been lovingly revived, reimagined, and reformed by The Ardee group. CCA is an art gallery dedicated to the patronage of unknown student artists with an aim to discover, mentor, and promote future masters as part of a long-term cultural investment in India. CCA is pleased to announce an Open Call inviting submissions from student artists across India. Our mission is to support unknown voices and provide a platform for innovative artistic practices at the beginning of their journey. Selected artists will be offered the unique opportunity to participate in a comprehensive Mentorship Program that includes guidance from established artists, gallery owners, curators, and art professionals. They will also have the chance to exhibit and be professionally represented at the India Art Festival, New Delhi and the Mumbai Art Fair, and Artixkey platforms that provide national and international visibility. Additionally, they will gain visibility through CCAs network, including digital promotion, publications, and community engagement. Students currently enrolled in art, design, or related academic programs are encouraged to apply. Submission requirements include a portfolio of recent work (maximum 10 images or equivalent videos), an artist statement (up to 500 words), and a CV or brief bio that includes educational background and exhibitions. Submissions will be evaluated on originality, conceptual strength, technical skill, and relevance to contemporary issues and underrepresented perspectives by a panel of senior artists and renowned gallery owners.
