We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Analyst (Manual + Automation) to join our HRIS product development team. The ideal candidate will begin with manual exploratory and functional testing , and progressively expand into automation of regression and smoke tests . You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Managers to ensure our HRIS (Recruitment, Core HR, Payroll, Compliance modules) is robust, user-friendly, and compliant with standards. Key Responsibilities Manual Testing Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and UAT scripts from FRDs/BRDs. Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing . Identify, log, and track bugs using Jira (or similar tools). Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing. Automation (Progressive Growth) Write and maintain basic test automation scripts using Playwright / Cypress / Selenium. Perform API testing using Postman/Newman or equivalent tools. Build smoke/regression packs for repeatable validation. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines . Collaboration & Communication Work closely with Business Analysts to map FRDs into test scenarios. Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and provide detailed feedback. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product demos. Domain & Compliance Understanding Learn and apply HRIS domain knowledge (Recruitment, Payroll, Attendance, Compliance). Ensure testing aligns with data privacy & compliance (GDPR, ISO). Key Skills Required Must-have: 3-5 years QA experience (manual + some automation exposure). Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect lifecycle . Experience with Jira (or similar bug tracking tools). Proficiency in writing test cases, acceptance criteria, and test reports . Hands-on with Postman (API validation). Good-to-have: Experience with Playwright / Cypress / Selenium . Basic scripting in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins). Exposure to HRIS, ERP, or SaaS applications. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking. Responsibilities Provision & operate (IaC): Use Terraform to manage VPC, subnets, IGW/NAT, Security Groups, EC2 , ALB/NLB , Lambda, Route 53 , S3 (bucket policies), RDS (Postgres/MySQL), basic CloudFront & amplify . Scale & availability: Configure Auto Scaling Groups and ALB target groups; health checks; safe rollouts (blue/green or rolling). Observability: Set up CloudWatch metrics/logs/alarms, simple dashboards; follow runbooks for L1/L2 incident response during business hours. Security hygiene: IAM least-privilege, KMS , Secrets Manager , VPC endpoints; patching, backups, and rotation schedules. Containers (operator level): Run Dockerised services on ECS/Fargate (EKS exposure is a plus, not required). Release & CI/CD: Maintain GitHub Actions/GitLab CI pipelines for build/test/deploy; assist with environment configs. FinOps basics: Tagging, budgets/alerts, lifecycle rules, rightsizing; submit a brief monthly cost summary. Collaboration & docs: Work with engineers and product to translate requirements; keep PRs/runbooks/diagrams current. Desired Candidate Profile 2-5 years of experience in Cloud Infra Engineering or related field. Bachelor's degree in Computers (B.Tech/B.E.). Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, Route53, ELB, Autoscaling, IAM, S3 Bucket Policies etc. Experience working with monitoring tools like Cloud Watch.
