ART CAM INTERN

As an ArtCAM Intern for CNC Woodworking at Sleek & Elegant Interiors, you will be responsible for creating 2D and 3D designs using ArtCAM for various woodworking projects. Your primary duties will include generating accurate toolpaths for cutting, carving, and engraving, collaborating with production managers to ensure CNC readiness, optimizing designs for different woodworking materials, and assisting in the development of custom furniture elements, jali patterns, and decorative panels. It will be crucial for you to ensure the quality and accuracy of design files before production. To excel in this role, you should possess basic to intermediate skills in ArtCAM, a good understanding of CNC woodworking machines and tooling, and knowledge of material properties in wood-based boards. Your creativity, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment will be key attributes for success. While not mandatory, having knowledge of CAD/CAM software beyond ArtCAM (such as AutoCAD, VCarve, Fusion 360) and experience in modular furniture or interior projects would be advantageous.
