Job Purpose: The role is to be single point responsible and accountable for Business Development in Solar C&I sector. Description of the roles and responsibilities • Responsible for business development activity in solar division • Commercial qualification and market mapping to identify potential customers. • Manage the Legal and Technical Due Diligence process with the support of the legal and technical team • Collate the estimates of existing regional market potential for rooftop/captive solar projects. • Prepare sales/revenue forecast and implement strategies to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and market-share objectives of the company and deliver on annual and quarterly sales/revenue/profit plans. • Ensure prompt follow -up with customers for orders, commercial terms, payments, approvals, problem resolution, etc. • Work with partners, vendors, company's engineers and program managers to ensure customers' needs. • Generating business leads, prospecting, following-up and closing the deal for solar rooftop/captive power projects. • Ensure pipeline development as well as convert maximum possible leads into last mile opportunities • Responsible for client relationship management, from lead development to project handover to post project feedback.
