The ideal candidate will be comfortable building test plans that validate real-world API workflows , including payment systems , mapping tools , CRM , document signing , AI assistants , and SMS communications . You must be creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented — someone who thinks beyond test scripts and brings out-of-the-box logic to discover potential issues across user journeys and integrations. Key Responsibilities Design and execute automated functional and regression test cases using Postman, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools. Validate complex integrations , including: Stripe – multi-invoice payments, pre-authorizations, webhooks Google Earth / Maps – route planning, GPS location accuracy, boundary checks PartsTech – parts catalog sync, inventory matching HubSpot – contact creation, pipeline automation, CRM syncing ChatGPT API – AI prompt/response cycles, workflow accuracy, fallback testing SignWell – PDF workflow approvals, webhook triggers, document status logic Twilio – SMS delivery confirmation, two-way message testing, error scenarios Simulate real-world business flows: EV job scheduling, recycling compliance submission, mobile estimate approvals. Handle test configuration across environments (Dev, UAT, Production), managing secure keys and variables. Log and track bugs using JIRA or Azure DevOps. Collaborate with developers and PMs to clarify acceptance criteria and edge cases. Continuously improve automation coverage for both backend APIs and frontend user interactions. Required Skills 2+ years in QA automation and API testing . Deep familiarity with Postman , including scripting and mock servers. Hands-on integration testing with RESTful APIs , including webhook flows and token-based auth. Working knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript . Solid understanding of OAuth2 , status codes , and data serialization (JSON/XML). Version control with Git ; CI tools like GitHub Actions , Jenkins, or similar. ASHLIN – Order Processing : · Ability to use a custom application used for dispatching orders for our EDI e-commerce clients, plus custom orders for our corporate orders.
