We are looking for a proactive and skilled Business Development Executive to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in technical and commercial bid preparation, strong coordination skills, and a keen eye for identifying new business opportunities. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams and requires excellent communication skills along with a strategic mindset. Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids with accuracy, ensuring compliance and quality in tender submissions. Participate in pre-bid meetings and respond promptly to technical queries with clarity. Collaborate effectively with the estimation team and coordinate with vendors throughout enquiry preparation, offer solicitation, and evaluation. Evaluate technical and commercial offers to ensure alignment with project requirements. Assist in contract reviews, support negotiation processes, and contribute to successful deal closures. Maintain organized documentation and records in a structured manner throughout the bid and project lifecycle. Initiate research and lead generation activities to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Demonstrate an understanding of risk management and apply mitigation strategies where applicable. Candidate Requirements Proven experience in estimation, proposal preparation, or related roles within EPC or similar industries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal abilities. Willingness to travel as necessary for client meetings, business development activities, and site visits. Strong interest in business research, market analysis, and strategic growth initiatives.
