The position is also responsible to focus on continuous improvement activities for the section like 5S, Kaizen etc on a regular basis Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Support the production team to minimize the cost due to rejection and rework Ensure adherence to department budget Customer ¢ Prepare timely and accurate counter measures to address customer issues related to respective section ¢ Provide support to the production and dispatch team by ensuring timely conduct of Patrol Inspection Process ¢ Monitor the in-process quality in respective section by conducting periodic product audits ¢ Conduct patrol inspection as per schedule & review check sheets filled by inspectors ¢ Prepare dimensional report / PQCS/ critical parameters etc. periodically ¢ Check quality of the components- inline and off line and ensure that all components that move to next process are as per the required dimensional parameters ¢ Supervise tool & die changeovers, and prepare loading/unloading report ¢ Ensure that all output classified as Rework is sent back to the production team immediately ¢ Coordinate with concerned departments for timely closure of CAPA points ¢ Follow up for implementation of quality related improvement projects at the plant including customer projects as well as internal improvement initiatives ¢ Ensure that all quality related compliances and standards for the plant are met Learning & Development ¢ Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process ¢ Take responsibility for people development initiatives and building in-house capabilities for the employees in the department Key Result Areas (KRAs) & Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)CategoryKRAKPIFinancial Cost Optimization% Adherence to BudgetCost Savings owing to quality related improvement projects% reduction in cost owing to rejections and rework Process Business Excellence% reduction in product rejections by customerRatio of rejection at PDI owing to in-process inspection% adherence to the timelines of implementation of improvement projectsNumber of issues regarding gauge alignmentAudits & Compliances% deviation from agreed quality standards% adherence to timelines of MIS Customer Customer SatisfactionTarget vs. Actual customer rating% adherence to TAT for resolving customer issues Learning & Development Performance ManagementAdherence to timelines of PMS processTraining & DevelopmentTarget vs. Actual man days of training programs attendedTarget vs. Actual hrs of OJT training programs delivered% of inspectors covered during OJT Job Descriptions for ARETE22 (P) LTD | Note : Please note that these are the primary roles and responsibilities of the job above .
