Position Title: CA Articleship Trainee Duration: 2 years (as per ICAI guidelines) Stipend: 10,000/- (1st Year), 12,000/- (2nd Year) Job Overview: As a CA Articleship Trainee, you will be an integral part of the team, assisting in various tasks related to auditing, taxation, accounting, and advisory services. You will be provided with hands-on exposure to the practical aspects of accounting, auditing, taxation, and finance, in alignment with the Chartered Accountancy curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Audit and Assurance Services: Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for clients across various sectors. Participate in audit planning, execution, and documentation. Prepare working papers, audit reports, and financial statements. Identify audit risks and provide solutions to clients. Conduct compliance checks as per applicable laws and standards (such as IFRS, GAAP, etc.). Taxation: · Assist in preparation and filing of income tax returns (individuals, corporates, etc.). · Research and provide support on GST compliance and filing. · Help in preparing tax computations, assessments, and audits for clients. · Assist in tax planning, tax advisory, and representation before tax authorities. Accounting: Prepare and maintain books of accounts for clients, including journal entries, ledgers, and trial balances. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform reconciliation tasks for bank accounts, debtors, creditors, etc. Analyze financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Financial Reporting: · Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (Indian GAAP, IFRS, etc.). · Support clients in managing their reporting requirements and ensuring timely filing of documents. Advisory Services: · Assist in providing business advisory services such as financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. · Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, taxation, and regulatory changes that may impact clients. Client Interaction: · Communicate with clients to gather information, discuss queries, and provide updates on the progress of ongoing work. · Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and assist in solving their financial, accounting, and tax-related issues. Learning and Development: · Participate in in-house and external training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills. · Work closely with senior members of the team to gain insights and practical experience. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Must be a registered CA student with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Knowledge and Skills: ü Basic knowledge of accounting, auditing, and taxation. ü Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. ü Strong communication skills (both written and verbal). ü Ability to work in a team and handle multiple assignments. ü Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
