Key Purpose of the Job:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving revenue targets, ensuring on me collecons for the assigned product / business (for example, network, security,soware products). The role holder is responsible for eec¢ve management of the sales funnel for the group of products/ business. Building and maintaining strong professional rela¢onship with vendor and channel partner representa¢ves is cri¢cal to the role.¢ Experience Required: - Should possess understanding of the sales, distribu¢on and channel management process in the IT Distribu¢on sector - Should possess good interpersonal and communica¢on skills - Should be able to build strong rela¢ons with key stakeholders - Strong product knowledge of IT products (Eg: Network, Security, So¢ware) (Sales Cer¢ca¢on is preferred) Key responsibili¢es: 1. Responsible for achieving revenue targets (quarterly, annual) through eec¢ve sales funnel management for the assigned product/business 2. Manage rela¢onships with vendor representa¢ves for the assigned product / business¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢¢ 3. Manage rela¢onships with channel partners for the assigned product / business and drive partner enablement programs 4. Drive on ¢me collec¢ons from channel partners and ensure pay-outs to the channel partners are processed on ¢me. 5. Responsible for MIS, reports genera¢on, documenta¢on and compliance for the assigned product / business
