WSP India is currently seeking a CAD Technician - Electrical for Australia Mining Projects (Materials Handling Infrastructure). You will be responsible for creating and editing drawings/models in compliance with WSP CAD and Client Standards using CAD tool software. This position is based in BANGLORE. You should be a team player and willing to collaborate with a motivated and successful team in Australia. Your responsibilities will include working as a Senior Electrical Designer on mining projects, having knowledge and experience of CAD tools 2D, 3D, and Navisworks. You should possess basic electrical principles, strong English communication skills, familiarity with electrical equipment and terminology, as well as familiarity with various electrical design documents. You must complete a high-quality self-check of your work efficiently, follow internal QC processes, and review engineering drawings accurately. Reporting progress to your immediate supervisor, understanding project schedules and budget requirements, and communicating effectively with internal peers and project teams are also essential aspects of this role. Key competencies expected include Collaboration & Teamwork, Technical Capability & Delivery, and Adaptability & Learning. It is desired that candidates have 6-12 years of experience in a consulting firm in O & G, Power Plant, Mineral processing using CAD tools, the ability to work with strict deadlines, and excellent teamwork skills. Qualifications for this role include 6-12 years of experience in Electrical 2D/3D drafting and modeling, a Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, strong organizational, technical, and communication skills, attention to detail, familiar with working in a LEAN environment, and experience with projects in Australia and New Zealand would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.,
