Job summary We are seeking an experienced and licensed Senior Architect to lead the design and execution of diverse architectural projects, from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem-solver with exceptional leadership and communication skills. This position requires extensive experience in design, project management, and team mentorship, along with a deep understanding of building codes and sustainable design practices. Key responsibilities Design leadership: Lead and manage architectural projects from initial concept development to final completion. Client relations: Collaborate with clients to define project goals, present proposals, and ensure design solutions meet their vision and functional requirements. Project management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, and coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Team mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff, fostering a culture of high-quality work and continuous learning. Regulatory compliance: Ensure all designs and project plans comply with relevant building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations. Document production: Prepare and review detailed architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and construction documents. Construction administration: Conduct site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure that construction aligns with design specifications. Innovation and research: Stay current with industry trends, sustainable design practices, and new technologies to bring innovative solutions to projects.
