Job Title: PMC Project Engineer Architecture & Interior Design Location: Mumbai Department: Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Reports To: Project Manager / Director About the Role The PMC Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing architectural and interior fit-out projects from start to finish. This role involves liaising between clients, consultants, contractors, and the design team to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities Review architectural and interior design drawings for feasibility and execution planning. Prepare detailed project schedules, timelines, and work breakdown structures. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for material procurement and execution. Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to quality standards, and manage on-site challenges. Oversee installation and fit-out works for interiors, furniture, fixtures, and finishes. Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory requirements, and company policies. Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Track budgets, control costs, and manage billing certifications. Conduct site inspections and provide technical solutions to resolve issues. Act as the primary point of contact between the client and the execution team. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design. 3–7 years’ experience in project management for architecture/interior design projects. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and interior fit-out standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus. Experience with PMC processes
