Architectural Interns

Job Description: As an Architectural Intern at Ara Urban Studio, located in Banashankri, Bangalore, you will be part of the team for a minimum of 6 months (preferred: 1 year). You should be a student in your 4th or 5th year of B.Arch with a good understanding of design, materials, and detailing. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite is required. Your responsibilities will include producing presentation drawings, 3D models, and assisting with design documentation. A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a hands-on studio environment are essential. You will get exposure to both architecture and interior design projects, work directly with the principal architect, and gain experience from concept to site execution. Key Responsibilities for the Junior Architect position include assisting in design development, working drawings, and site coordination, preparing client presentations and mood boards, coordinating with vendors, consultants, and site teams, and contributing to detailing and BOQs for interiors and architecture projects. You should have a strong design sensibility, good command over AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray/Enscape, Photoshop, and MS Office, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a small team setup. Prior internship experience in an architecture or interior design firm is preferred.
